Land Navigation / Intro to Small Boats, Clinton Lake, IL

This course will cover:

  • Principles and application of land navigation utilizing a 1:25 map and lensatic compass

  • The use of small boats in an emergency or tactical environment.

A 6 mile hike will be conducted prior to classroom and application portion of course.

PREREQUISITES:

  • Minimum 3rd Class Pioneer Candidate rating

  • Intro to Water Survival
